Construct Ontology-based Enterprise Information Metadata Framework
Abstract—The standardization and unification of metadata has a significant impact on enterprise’s information integration and sharing. In this paper, information engineering and cluster analysis method is used to define the concepts and relationships of enterprises business metadata, after that an algorithm is designed to map meta-data to OWL DL ontology and construct ontology-based enterprise information meta-data framework. The proposed framework can unify the definition of enterprise business information and provide a basis for information exchange and system interoperation, as well as provide a premise for knowledge management.
