Abstract—For helping Web service consumers establish the corresponding relationship between terms of the domain conceptual model and date types in WSDL, this paper proposes a method to embed semantic annotation in the definition of data types in WSDL with XSLT transformation. So Web service consumers can understand better the meaning of the data with this bidirectional relationship and thus further ensure they use Web services correctly. The additional benefit obtained from this method is that Web service annotators are able to find corresponding concept terms not built in the conceptual model so as to help them accomplish annotating conveniently.
